Artists Submission Guide
The Gallery Jeanette is currently accepting works from full time Canadian, American and European artists with an emphasis on Oil Paintings, B&W Photography and Sculpture.
Preferable style
- 17th Century Dutch Style-Life, or Dutch (today Holland) Realism, - Abstract expressionism (see section 'Gallery' from main page) (Submitted photographs must not be manipulated by any means)
Genre
- Still-Life - Genre Paintings (everyday life scene) - History paintings - Landscape with people - Abstract
Guidelines
The Gallery Jeanette accepts portfolios from artists who are seeking representation. Selection is based on demonstrated quality, innovation, and excellence in artists' work.
Submissions must include the following: - Preferable 8 works, one JPG image from front and one from back side for each painting, and for photographs only images from front side. Images have to be stored on USB memory, and mailed in envelope.
- Files name must be consistent and should consist of: > year when it is made (completed), > size (inch). For Sculpture only one (the largest) dimension. > medium (Oil Painting, Photography or Sculpture), > support (Canvas, Copper, Board, Silver Gelatin, Bronze, …), > suggested price (Canadian $). Behind suggested price you can add your own designation

- A complete curriculum vitae including place and date of birth.
- An artist statement and/ or a brief biography.
- A self-addressed stamped envelope to ensure return of the submission materials. If this information is available on a website the link may be emailed to j@GalleryJeanette.com for review. Packages marked Artist Submissions may be dropped off at or mailed to:

International Shipping of Canvasses
For artist submitting artworks from US and Europe - to minimize your shipping expense, we highly recommend that you remove the strecther (or strainer) and roll the canvasses (painted surface outward) to fit it in the tube that you have. Gallery Jeanette staff will re-stretch tha canvas and frame it ready for the Gallery showroom.
Every frame that comes with work of art will be subject to approval for sale by Gallery Jeanette.
